Sandra Bullock shared rare throwback photos of her two kids cuddling up to their grandfather.
In celebration of Father's Day, the Proposal actress, 61, shared two photos on Instagram of her late father, John Wilson Bullock, holding each of her two kids — Louis, 16, and Laila, 12 — when they were younger.
“He loved me through my goth period… Loved on the loves of my life… And loved our country at 18,” Sandra wrote of her dad, who died at age 93 in September 2018, in the caption.

“Happy Heavenly Father's Day, Dad. ❤️,” she concluded, before also sharing the cuddling images on her Instagram Stories with the caption, “Loved on the loves of my life.”
Along with the throwback photos of John holding Louis and Laila as babies, the actress shared an old snap of herself embracing her father and another of her dad serving in the Army while in full uniform.

This rare glimpse into Sandra's family life comes just over a month after she shared another collection of throwback photos for Mother's Day.
“To all the mamas, No matter how you came to be, Happy Mother's Day,” she wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of her looking up at the sky as the younger versions of her two kids sit in her lap while wearing what appear to be Halloween costumes. “We are all bound by this honor of a lifetime.”
Alongside the photos of her kids, whom she adopted when she was in her 40s, Sandra's post also featured a snap of her chatting with her late mother, Helga Meyer.
“Mom and Omi, thank you for teaching me,” she continued in the caption. “We miss you ❤️Sorry I was such a brat.”

In April, the mom of two opened up about how she's prioritized her role as a mom while balancing a busy work schedule — especially while she was filming Practical Magic 2.
"I made this film at this time because I knew my kids were out of school. I'm not going to sacrifice my children's — my time — with my kids," Sandra explained at the CNBC Changemakers Summit in New York City.
She added, "They'd be happy if I was gone. I would not. It's true. And I do not do my best work if my children are struggling or if they need something and I can't facilitate it."
"I'm raising my children, not anybody else. But I have the luxury of doing that in this business. So many people don't," she continued. "And I understand that grief and that angst when you are at work, going, 'I'm not where I need to be right now. I'm here being performative and doing my job.' But guess what? Women can do it. We can do 15 things at one time and get it done."
