Melbourne boxer Huss ‘Skinny’ Dehaini dies after he is shot outside a popular venue and stumbles down the street before collapsing – leaving a trail of blood

A boxer has been shot dead while leaving an Italian restaurant and bar in Melbourne.

Huss ‘Skinny’ Dehaini, aged in his 30s, attended an event that began at Trombar, in Ascot Vale, at 9pm on Saturday and that carried on late into the night.

Mr Dehaini left the venue after midnight and had only walked a few metres before he was gunned down outside a vacant food truck. He had been headed for his car.

A wounded Mr Dehaini managed to stumble further down Mount Alexander Road before he collapsed outside a Woolworths loading dock, leaving a trail of blood.

He was taken to hospital in a critical condition before he died.

The shooters fled the scene after they were picked up in a getaway car.

Local resident Nicole opened up on the chaos of the shooting.

‘We heard two gunshots around 12.10,’ she told The Herald Sun.
