I’m humbled and amazed and it brings me such joy to be apart of the Toy Story franchise,” Allen typed out on his account via X, ending the message with Buzz Lightyear’s signature cry, “to Infinity and beyond!”

“They keep talking about how it could move forward, but they get stuck [because] there are some personality problems right now with the boys,” Allen said in a recent interview with US Weekly.

He went on to explain that the actors who portrayed his television sons have their own commitments and challenges, making it difficult to bring everyone together. While Allen has previously envisioned a continuation focused on the Taylor family’s next generation, that concept appears unlikely to move ahead in the near future.
