A 16-year-old boy has been rushed to hospital with critical head injuries after falling from a Sydney train.
NSW Police were called to the railway corridor between St Peters and Sydenham Stations about 8.15am on Saturday.
Police were told the boy had fallen from a train onto the tracks.
He was then taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in a critical but stable condition, where he remains for treatment.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
Services from Central station were disrupted, with delays across multiple lines and some services placed on hold.
