A business owner fed up with the number of thieves stealing from her jewellery store has taken matters into her own hands and shared CCTV of the despicable acts.
The Silver Collective co-owner Anastasia Barba has been targeted countless times by the criminals at her Westfield Miranda and Parramatta boutique stores.
In one video, a woman wearing a grey gilet could be seen hurriedly taking a couple of items before walking away with her hands down by her side.
Another person, wearing a dark blue top with white markings, appeared to take a bracelet and put it around her wrist before quickly folding her arms.
A second video showed a person wearing a black hoodie standing near the counter and seemingly browsing the necklace collection before taking off with one.
A staff member could be seen yelling out to the thief before chasing after them with a colleague.
One nonchalant-looking shoplifter was seen in other footage slowly picking out items he liked and putting them into his bag as he casually strolled away.
Ms Barba, who told Daily Mail there were plenty more incidents caught on camera, has reported them all to the police and shopping centre security.

Ms Barba opted to blur out the faces in the footage because she didn’t want ‘to ruin people’s lives on the internet’
‘We have sent their photo to Westfield security, to the police and they are now dealing with it,’ she said.
‘Standard protocol is you take a screenshot of someone’s face and send to Westfield.
‘They then track you walking around the centre and can see what time you entered and what time you left.’
Although thefts had occurred since they opened their physical store in 2020, Ms Barba said there had been an increase in recent times.
‘I think with the cost of living at the moment, we have seen more thefts,’ she said.
While Westfield provides the business with security guards ‘who come in and check on us’, she said they took extra precautions as well.
‘I think the social media call out is a big eye opener to people thinking about stealing, but we have more staff on and we do our visual merchandising in a way where we can see if something has been stolen,’ she said.
‘We have security cameras everywhere and our team are training on lost prevention as well.

‘We also only have one of each item on display, so we know when something goes missing.’

She also gave a warning to the thieves thinking of running off with her items.
‘Just know that if you are thinking about stealing from us or any retail store, there are cameras everywhere,’ Ms Barba said.
‘Don’t do it, you’re gonna get caught.’
Daily Mail contacted Westfield for comment.

‘Good on you darling, I think this is a good approach,’ one said.
‘Good on you for calling them out and giving them a way out.
‘Hopefully this will work as a good warning for them.’
‘I swear, aren’t they embarrassed, good on you for making this,’ a second said.
‘Ahh that’s awful, I hope you get the items back,’ a third said.
Another business owner even said they recognised one of the thieves.
‘What? I know this man! He came into my shop today and I was talking to him,’ they said.
