Ace Greene has had a rollercoaster experience since his time on Love Island USA. From rumors to constant criticism, he faced a lot of backlash after leaving the villa. Things took another turn after his sit-down with Speedy Morman on Complex last year. During the interview, Ace spoke about Nic Van’s connection with Olandria Carthen. The same person viewers watched before the show, bringing laughs and dance moves to TikTok Live, found himself constantly receiving hate online.
Less than four months later, Ace went through a public breakup with Chelley Bissainthe. The split added another layer of public scrutiny, speculation, and online discussion surrounding his personal life. Now, Ace has returned in a new interview to address the backlash, discuss his growth, and share how he has been navigating life in the spotlight.

Ace Greene Expresses Regret Over His Past Comments About Nic And Olandria’s Relationship
Ace Greene sat down with Barron Harris on a recent episode of ‘Life Without The Game,’ where he opened up about growth, future goals, and navigating life in the spotlight. During the conversation, Ace admitted that he has struggled with speaking on certain topics and expressing exactly how he feels. He shared that sometimes you have to sit in the fire, learn from the situation, and wait before telling your side of the story. Also, Ace acknowledged that he has hurt people along the way. He later reflected on the moment he questioned Nic’s connection with Olandria and suggested there was no spark between them.
While addressing the situation, Ace said, “For example, even with the whole Nicolandria situation, when I spoke on that, that’s me speaking from a place of hurt. Nic hurt my feelings, and I didn’t feel like he had my back. Even though I praised Olandria in the same interview with Speedy, I still spoke on her relationship, and it opened the door for her to receive hate. That was never my intention. I was simply expressing how I felt at the time, but I hurt myself and I hurt them in the process.”
Ace shared that while they were able to make amends and smooth things over that same week, the situation still impacted their relationships. He admitted it is something he continues to struggle with today. He made it clear that he believes he was wrong for how he handled the situation.
Ace Greene Opens Up About How God And His Mother Helped Him Through His Mental Health Struggles
Ace Greene also discussed being receptive to constructive criticism. Him and Baron spoke about this generation’s obsession with cancel culture. How people often struggle to tell someone they were wrong while also extending grace. He expressed that many people are quick to call for a person’s downfall, rather than give an opportunity to right wrongs.
“When that whole podcast dropped, you would’ve thought I hit a woman,” Ace said while reflecting on the backlash he faced. When asked how he kept himself together during that time, Ace credited God, his mother, and his family for helping him through it.
“God and mom, I would say. My mom is the person who would drive to come see me to make sure I don’t take my life or I don’t go do something heinous to where it puts permanent damage on me forever. You know what I mean? And a lot of prayer, a lot of quality time with family, because sometimes I felt like stepping outside into the sunlight, I was going to get rocks thrown at me on some sh**. And I’ve never felt that feeling before. Again, I was in an environment where a lot of sh** was going down, and rocks were being thrown at me, and I didn’t have no clue about it. Then you come out and see that, and now when you’re experiencing it for the first time, for real, for real, it’s a whole different ball game.”
Social Media Reacts To New Interview
Folks gathered under The Shade Room Teens to react to Ace Greene’s latest interview. Some felt Ace was jealous of Nic and Olandria’s success. They also claimed he is only taking accountability because of the backlash. Others disagreed and argued there is nothing to be jealous of. They said the real issue is people refusing to extend grace.
