During summer getaways, I’m always fascinated by what supplies fellow vacationers use to get the most out of their trips. When I recently visited Hershey Park, I saw one nifty accessory that many people were carrying (actually, wheeling) around: beach wagons.
They’re clever alternatives to hauling heavy backpacks and tote bags around theme parks and community pools, and of course, down to the beach and back. The wagon hauls up to 220 pounds and measures 27 by 17 by 18 inches when open. So, feel free to load it up with packed coolers, picnic essentials, and even beach chairs. It also has two outer pockets that fit wide-bottom water bottles and small towels (when rolled up), as well as tons of snacks.
It has a carbon-steel frame, plus a reinforced bottom to prevent sagging or collapsing when it’s filled to capacity. It’s also wrapped with rip-resistant and waterproof fabric, so it’s suitable for frequent outdoor use. And if you accidentally leave it outside in the rain, it dries quickly.

One shopper called it “essential for apartment living” because it makes transporting groceries from their building’s garage "significantly easier.”
A second shopper “totes around” their “50-pound dog that has lost the ability to walk well,” while another reviewer said, “I have three dogs that when they get tired after a long hike, I put them [in the wagon].” A final shopper even “carted around” their “7-year-old grandson” with it.
