UCB and Biogen (BIIB) on Monday said that their investigational drug dapirolizumab pegol met the primary endpoint in a phase 3 trial for systemic lupus erythematosus, with 50% of patients achieving a BICLA response at week 48 compared to 35% on placebo (p=0.011).
