The ‘KOIRO’ espresso machine concept has been designed by Burcu Irmak Kuzey as a toy-like take on the classic kitchen countertops appliance that rethinks modern aesthetics. The espresso machine is imagined with a color blocked design that sees the individual components of the unit covered in blue, turquoise, burnt sienna and yellow hues. This helps to have each part stand out and contribute positively to the final look, while also giving it a modernist profile that looks at once ultra-chic and toy-like.

The ‘KOIRO’ espresso machine concept is also imagined with a series of simple controls that are indicated with no text, but instead rely solely on symbols to further increase the minimalist nature of the appliance.
