For the longest time, Timothée Chalamet had a clear signature look: Long, curly hair. Clean-shaven face. Magnifique, as the French say.
For that reason, every time he’s changed things up over the years, it’s always been a topic of conversation — like when he cut his hair and grew a mustache for Marty Supreme.
Or when he dramatically shaved all his hair off for the forthcoming Dune: Part Three. (He also started wearing little glasses around this time, too, although I don’t think that has anything to do with Paul Atreides.)
Well, nine months on from the big buzz-cut era, it’s become apparent that Timothée is growing his hair out, but remains very committed to the facial hair, no matter how many jokes his mini mustache inspires. This is what he looked like a few weeks ago.
But now, he’s debuted another new look — and I can confirm, THE FACIAL HAIR IS (pretty much) GONE. HURRRAHHH!!!!!
Sitting courtside at yesterday’s Knicks game at Madison Square Garden, the native New Yorker showed off a shaven face and a shorter haircut — bordering on mullet-esque, with some length at the back.
Now, it’s fair to say Timmy’s mustache was pretty divisive among fans, so the latest reactions online are overwhelmingly positive. One X post with over 2.4 million views and 35,000 likes reads: “just when I think I’m out they pull me back in.”
Some are saying the new look instantly made him look younger — and I have to agree!
Some also think he looks like Formula 1 driver Charles Leclerc (he does, I totally see it), while plenty of others think his recent hangout with Jacob Elordi inspired him to embrace the Aussie-boy look. But all I wanna know is, 1) What movie is this for, and 2) What does Kylie Jenner think?
