Vanderpump Rules alum Ally Lewber has broken her silence on speculation that her ex-boyfriend James Kennedy is expecting a baby.
“My first thought was shocked because I didn’t know he, like, had a girlfriend,” Lewber, 30, said on the Friday, May 15, episode of the “Scheananigans With Scheana Shay” podcast. “I was like, ‘Whoa.’ I also was shocked that I was like, ‘OK,’ and then didn’t really care.”
Rumors have swirled since April that Kennedy, 34, has a new girlfriend, and TMZ reported on May 7 that they are gearing up to welcome a baby. The British DJ has not publicly addressed the speculation.
As for Lewber, she wished Kennedy “the best,” but they have not been in communication since their breakup.

“I think he has always wanted to be a dad,” Lewber acknowledged on Friday. “That was always our thing. He always wanted kids immediately, and I was like, ‘I don’t know what I want.’ He’s always wanted to be a dad, and he has always moved quickly. I wish them the best.”
Kennedy dated Lewber from 2022 to 2024, getting together after he called off his engagement to Rachel “Raquel” Leviss.
Kennedy and Lewber broke up shortly after he was arrested in December 2024 for misdemeanor domestic violence. (Kennedy denied the claims and did not face criminal charges.)
“I am committed to making meaningful changes in my life,” Kennedy wrote in an Instagram Story statement at the time. “I am taking time to focus on my sobriety, personal growth, and being present for my loved ones. Navigating challenging moments is not easy but I am determined to learn, grow and move forward with the incredible support system around me.”

As for Lewber, she has since been candid about moving forward.
“It was difficult, very public,” Lewber said on her “Starstuck” podcast in March 2025. “I recognize now that that was a toxic relationship and I’m grateful for being on the other side of it and I’m grateful for all of your love and comments and DMs and all of the support that you guys have shown me. It’s actually been so encouraging and helpful, truly.”
Lewber started dating again on Netflix’s Perfect Match season 4. She connected with Love Is Blind alum Jimmy Presnell and Married at First Sight Australia Dave Hand ahead of the upcoming finale.
While it’s not known whether Lewber found her perfect match, she has been content on her own and is considering freezing her eggs.
“I don’t think I’ll be ready for kids, like, anytime soon,” she said on Friday. “I do think I’ll want them [eventually].”
