Jordon Hudson, the girlfriend of former New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick, has chimed in on the affair scandal surrounding Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini.
Russini, 43, stepped down from her job at The Athletic earlier this month amid bombshell allegations that she had an affair with Vrabel, 50. The pair, who are both married with children, have denied the allegations.
Hudson, whose own relationship with Belichick has come under scrutiny in the past, weighed in on the controversy on Tuesday when she appeared to accuse the media of ‘suspicious behaviors.’
The cheerleader, who shares a controversial 49-year age gap with her football coach beau, seemed to fuel rampant social media conspiracy theories about the fallout from the bombshell photos of Vrabel and Russini, specifically the firing of NFL analyst Chris Simms.
Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Simms became the latest casualty of NBC’s brutal makeover of its Sunday Night Football program earlier this week.
His dismissal, which was part of a huge upheaval to the show’s presenting lineup, also came shortly after he was abruptly cut off while discussing the Vrabel-Russini scandal on ‘Pro Football Talk’ on NBC Sports.

‘I’d shoot you straight,’ he said. ‘These are things that I’ve been texting with my friends in the coaching world. Even their wives are involved in the conversation.’
However, Mike Florio swiftly interrupted Simms, shutting down his commentary in an awkward moment and telling him to ‘stay on target.’
Following his release, social media users have begun to baselessly question if his departure and his comments were related.
And Hudson appeared to support that wild conspiracy theory as she quote-tweeted an account commenting on the claims.
‘We’re not talking about this?’ she asked. ‘Why not, @ProFootball Talk?’
She also retweeted a post that listed 18 ‘bizarre/suspicious media behaviors in the Russini-Vrabel scandal.’
Hudson went as far as to poke fun at her own scandal with a nod to her infamous moment when she interrupted Belichick’s CBS interview by shutting down questions about their relationship.
She posted a grab from the now-viral moment she bluntly stated, ‘We’re not talking about this. She photoshopped Simms’ and Florio’s faces onto the image.

Despite Hudson’s questions, there is no evidence to suggest that Simms’ ‘Football Night in America’ exit and his comments on the Vrabel-Russini controversy are linked.
The current offseason has seen a huge shake-up to the presenting lineup, with longtime fan favorite Tony Dungy and fantasy expert Matthew Berry both cut by the network, and former Steelers coach Mike Tomlin drafted in as a high-profile replacement.
‘I’m not on the show anymore,’ Simms – who is the son of Super Bowl-winning Giants quarterback Phil – said on PFT Live on Monday.
Speaking to Mike Florio, who is also a regular on the NBC show, he added: ‘I don’t know if anyone told you. I will not be a part of “Football Night In America”.
‘They told me that last week, so that’s going to be a different aspect. That hurt because I do love it.’
Simms had served as an analyst on the show since 2017, having worked for Fox, Bleacher Report and CBS prior to that.
He has multiple roles at NBC, also dabbling in college football coverage and hosting his own podcast, ‘Chris Simms Unbuttoned,’ as well as appearing on ‘Pro Football Talk.’

Hudson shared a series of social media posts questioning Simms dismissal in relation to his comments on the Russini-Vrabel controversy
As it stands, those roles do not appear to be affected and Simms will continue to be employed by the network.
Meanwhile, Vrabel has been seeking professional help amid the claims that he had an affair with Russini, who resigned from her job at The Athletic after Page Six released photos of her and the coach at a $2,500-a-night Arizona retreat.
The pair, who are both married with children, initially denied the affair allegations and insisted they were at the resort with a larger group when the snaps were taken.
However, Vrabel has since offered a groveling apology to his family and recently stepped away from the 2026 NFL Draft in order to focus on his counseling and maintain a low profile amid the ongoing saga.
