A Massachusetts deputy has been arrested after being accused of raping and trafficking a teenage boy across multiple towns.
Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Richard Kielczweski, 41, was arrested on Friday night on accusations of several sexual assaults, creating child pornography and trafficking a 15-year-old boy.
Kielczweski faces accusations spanning across multiple towns in the state; Hanson, Halifax and Middleboro, according to the Halifax Police Department.
‘Detective Cushman of the Halifax Police Department conducted an extensive investigation into Halifax-related incidents connected to this case,’ the cops said.
‘As a result of his investigation, Detective Cushman obtained an arrest warrant charging Kielczweski.’
Kielczweski was arrested by Hanson and Middleborough Police, according to the release.
In Hanson, the former deputy faces three counts of pay for sexual conduct with a child under 18, two counts of rape of a child aggravated by a 10-year age difference, one count of rape of a child with force, posing/exhibiting a child in a sexual act and trafficking person under 18 for sexual servitude.
He faces further charges in Middleboro, including one count of witness intimidation and enticing a child under 16, and in Halifax he has been accused of two counts of rape of a child, pay for sexual conduct with a child and trafficking.
Kielczweski was employed by the sheriff’s department as of February after he was hired as a correctional officer in 2015, WCVB reported.

‘The charges against Officer Kielczweski are extremely serious and deeply disturbing,’ the department said in a statement to the outlet.
‘The Department has taken the swift and decisive action to indefinitely suspend Officer Kielczweski.’
Kielczweski had been previously awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal from the US Marine Corps Toys for Tots program, noting his work during the 2024 holiday season in the greater Boston area, the outlet reported.
‘The Halifax Police Department would like to recognize the efforts of all agencies involved in bringing this individual into custody and protecting vulnerable victims,’ the HPD said.
The investigation remains ongoing, the department noted.
The former officer is being held on a $250,000 bail and is set to be arraigned on Monday in Plymouth District Court.
