Kate Hudson knows what wants her kids to borrow from her.
As the Running Point actress, mom to Ryder, 22, with ex-husband Chris Robinson, Bingham, 14, with ex-fiancé Matt Bellamy and Rani, 7, with fiancé Danny Fujikawa, detailed the the lessons she hopes to teach her children, for her it comes down to one key message.
“My hope is that they see how hard I work,” Kate exclusively told E! News at the 2026 TIME100 Gala April 23. “And that they understand. I know that’s how I feel about my parents. It’s just work ethic. Discipline, work ethic.”
“What we do—and what I know my kids are gonna do—is we’re a community,” she continued. “It’s a real community, and we can’t do it without each other. It’s a really collaborative medium.”
Having that support system has been invaluable for the 47-year-old during her decades in the public eye.
“To make friends, to really celebrate each other and celebrate each other’s work,” she reflected, “I hope that’s what they take from what I’m trying to model.”
