Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Son Patrick Schwarzenegger Shares Perk of Growing Up on Movie Sets
Patrick Schwarzenegger is ready to turn the page on his next role.
The White Lotus alum revealed he will be starring alongside Bridgerton’s Phoebe Dynevor in the film adaptation of Emily Henry’s 2020 novel Beach Read.
“I’m so excited for this!!!” Schwarzenegger wrote on Instagram Stories April 14. “First – let me say thank you to @emilyhenrywrites for the opportunity! I will do everything possible to make the fans happy & proud and bring your brilliant writing to life.”
The 32-year-old also gave a shoutout to wife Abby Champion, adding that the model is “obsessed” with Henry and her books.
And Schwarzenegger—whose parents are Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver—was particularly excited to be starring alongside Dynevor, tagging the 30-year-old and writing, “I can’t wait to bring these characters to life with you. It was a pleasure working opposite you through these chemistry reads.”
Beach Read will see Schwarzenegger star as dark fiction author Gus with Dynevor taking on the role of romance writer January. In the book, the characters reconnect while neighbors at a lake community in Michigan and decide to swap literary genres in an effort to help their writers’ block. And of course, the duo promise there will be no romance between them.
