Mado Dynamic’s AI-powered window shades feature a precision-fitting, trim-to-fit design that installs in minutes without tools or drilling. The shades accommodate window openings up to 90 inches in height and are offered in both blackout and light-filtering fabrics for customizable light control. Each unit integrates a solar panel with a rechargeable battery that can sustain up to six months of operation on a full charge. Manual control is available via a dedicated remote or the company’s smartphone app, and Matter compatibility ensures seamless integration with leading home automation platforms.
At the core of the system is an AI engine that continuously analyzes the sun’s trajectory, local weather conditions, indoor temperature, and user-defined preferences. In Eco Mode, the shades automatically adjust to optimize natural light ingress and indoor thermal regulation, reducing heating and cooling loads. Additional Home and Away modes adapt shade behavior to occupancy patterns, enhancing both comfort and energy efficiency. Mado Dynamic plans to launch the shades through a Kickstarter campaign in February 2025, with prices starting at $279, followed by broader retail availability later in the year.
